When Lori Keller was just Seventeen years old, she became an Estée Lauder counter manager at Nordstroms. And that is when Lori discovered, she had an eye for beauty enhancement and a special connection with the customers that she’s helped.

A close and personal friend of Lori’s, continually encouraged her, saying, “You have to get yourself licensed and go for it!” allowing Lori to do and accomplish more, on her own, with the freedom to grow into new and advanced forms of beautification.
After studying at Portland State University, Lori went to school and graduated from the Executive Institute of Hair Design, where she became fully licensed and devoted herself to specializing in skin-care.
Soon after, Lori moved down to sunny California, where all the action was – at the time. During Lori’s journey through the lives of people she was helping, she made contact with an extraordinary person, now globally famous Dr. Murad, a well know dermatologist, as in, Murad Skincare. Over time, Dr. Murad expressed to Lori that she should consider looking into Laser treatments, saying that, it will be one of the most effective and popular skin treatments in the near future. He was right.
Dr. Murad was the Professor of Dermatology at the University of LA (UCLA) and Lori who had grown up in Portland, OR, found herself with a bad case of sun-damage. “Coming from PNW – Portland and moving to a place where it’s sunny all the time, I damaged my skin and wound up with pigmentation all over my body.” Said Lori.
After informing Dr. Murad of Lori’s skin condition, the good Dr. introduced Lori to Gary Lask, MD who had performed one of the first C.O2 laser treatments on Lori, treating and curing her skin condition. “When it was all done, I was like wow! If I could do this for others too, I would love it!” -said Lori.
This led Lori to open her very-own skincare clinic in the warm and sunny – Manhattan Beach, California. Just a block up from the ocean, right on the busy main boulevard, where she treated a very large number of people over the course of thirteen years.
Eventually, Lori began to miss her friends and family in the PNW “Home” and the Portland and surrounding markets were growing, so she moved back in 1996, and helped Dr. Bruce Russell build his dermatology practice, after he retired from the laser department at Oregon Health & Science University.
Years later, Lori designed and opened up a brand-new laser clinic of her own, located in Vancouver, WA (Vancouver Laser Skin Clinic) That’s where she treated a little over a thousand people, over the course of 13 years.
In 2016, Lori moved her laser skin care clinic to Downtown, Camas, WA, and renamed it, Keller Med Spa & Laser. Today, her business stands out from the rest in the skin care biz, not only because she has over 30-years of Laser Experience but also because she owns and operates the two best known lasers machines, within the marketplace, that treats a variety of skin issues like: pigmentation spots, rosacea, acne, acne scaring, leg veins, and just about everything else that’s skin related and esthetic.
Treatment for these sorts of skin issues usually takes about three treatments – every four weeks. After each treatment, you can expect some redness of the skin and other visible spots on the skin like, dark pigmentation, but rest assured, that’s all just a good sign that it’s actually working, and working well. “For most people, it takes them a while to damage their skin to a noticeable level, but with my laser skin care techniques and treatments, it takes a fairly short time – in comparison, to reverse the appearance of the damaged skin.” Lori explains.
Treatment always begins with an Evaluation & Consultation, getting to know what the issues really are, and determining the possible treatments and deciding what to do first. While full laser skincare consultations and evaluations are not always free in the various clinics out there, Lori has always kept the fee as low as possible. “We’ve done pretty well here and have helped a lot of people, so I just want to continue make sure that our treatments are as assessable and affordable to as many people as we can.”, says Lori.
